1. Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed once agreed between the client and One Drop Excursions.
A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to secure the reservation.
The deposit can be paid via:
– PayPal
– Bank transfer
A personalised quotation including all agreed details will be provided before confirmation.
Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment of the Balance
The remaining balance must be paid on the morning of the excursion.
Accepted payment methods:
– Cash (Mauritian rupees or foreign currency at applicable exchange rate)
– Credit or debit card (American Express not accepted)
– PayPal

3. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellation conditions are as follows:
– cancellation less than 48 hours before departure: deposit is non-refundable
– cancellation less than 5 days before departure: 30% of the deposit may be retained
Clients are encouraged to inform us as early as possible in case of cancellation.

4. Weather Conditions
Safety is our priority.
If sea or weather conditions are unsafe on the day of the excursion, clients will be contacted in advance and offered an alternative date.
If rescheduling is not possible for either party, the deposit will be fully refunded.

5. Late Arrival or No-Show
Clients must arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.
Late arrival may result in a shortened excursion or cancellation without refund.
Failure to attend the excursion without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and the deposit will not be refunded.

6. Health and Safety Information
For safety and comfort reasons, clients must inform us in advance if their group includes:
– pregnant women
– elderly participants
– persons with reduced mobility
– babies or young children
– anyone with medical conditions that may affect participation
Participation without prior disclosure of relevant medical information is at the client’s own responsibility.

7. Children
Children are welcome but remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times during the excursion.

8. Snorkeling and Water Activities
Snorkeling and swimming activities are optional and depend on weather and sea conditions.
Participants take part in these activities at their own responsibility and must follow all safety instructions given by the crew.
Life jackets are available onboard when required.

9. Dolphin and Whale Watching Activities
Encounters with dolphins, sperm whales, and other marine wildlife take place in their natural environment.
As these animals are wild and free-moving, sightings and interactions cannot be guaranteed.
Participants must follow all instructions given by the skipper and crew during wildlife encounters at all times.

10. Marine Wildlife Encounters and Local Regulations
One Drop Excursions operates in full compliance with Mauritian laws and marine wildlife protection regulations.
Swimming with sperm whales is strictly prohibited under Mauritian regulations.
Swimming with dolphins may be allowed depending on weather conditions, sea conditions, and official guidelines on the day of the excursion.
One Drop Excursions reserves the right to restrict or cancel any wildlife interaction activity if required for safety, environmental protection, or legal compliance.

11. Safety on Board
All participants must comply with safety instructions provided by the crew at all times.
One Drop Excursions reserves the right to refuse participation or continue the excursion with any participant whose behaviour may compromise safety.

12. Changes to the Itinerary
For safety, weather, environmental, or operational reasons, One Drop Excursions reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary.

13. Personal Belongings
One Drop Excursions cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the excursion.
Clients are advised to avoid bringing valuables onboard.

14. Photo, Video and Image Rights
During excursions, photos and videos (including underwater footage or drone footage where applicable) may be taken by One Drop Excursions.
These images may be used for communication purposes such as:
– website content
– social media publications
– promotional materials
However, client privacy is respected at all times.
One Drop Excursions will always request the participant’s consent before publishing any identifiable photos or videos.
Clients have the right to refuse the use of their image at any time by informing the crew before or during the excursion, or by contacting us afterwards at:

Refusing image use will not affect participation in the excursion or access to services.
Photos and videos provided to clients after the excursion are intended for personal use only.
Any commercial use, reproduction, distribution, resale, or publication by travel agencies, tour operators, content creators, or third parties requires prior written permission from One Drop Excursions.

15. Liability
Participation in excursions organised by One Drop Excursions implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
One Drop Excursions shall not be held responsible for:
– delays caused by weather or sea conditions
– itinerary changes required for safety reasons
– wildlife behaviour beyond our control
– circumstances beyond our reasonable control

16. Photo and Video Delivery
When photo and video packages (including underwater or drone footage) are included in the excursion, delivery is normally completed within 5 to 7 days after the excursion.
Delivery times may vary depending on weather conditions, technical factors, or editing requirements.
Content is usually shared via an online download link or agreed digital platform.
While One Drop Excursions makes every effort to provide the promised media content, delivery cannot be guaranteed in the event of unforeseen technical issues beyond our control.
Media files are provided for personal use only and remain subject to the image usage conditions described in Section 14.
