Our first stop is the lagoon between Gabriel Island and Flat Island, where you’ll enjoy a guided snorkeling session in calm, crystal-clear waters rich in coral formations and tropical marine life.
You will then have free time to explore Flat Island, walk along its beautiful beach, discover its unique landscape and simply enjoy one of Mauritius’ most spectacular islands.
Before returning to Grand Gaube, we stop in the bay of Coin de Mire for a second guided snorkeling session. This site offers a completely different underwater landscape, often featuring rays, turtles and colourful reef fish depending on sea conditions.
Throughout the excursion, your guide accompanies you in the water while capturing complimentary underwater videos for you to keep as souvenirs.
The Northern Islands are home to some of Mauritius’ most beautiful coral reefs.
Depending on the season and sea conditions, you may observe hard and soft corals, butterflyfish, angelfish, parrotfish, moray eels, octopuses, rays, turtles and many other reef species.
Whether you are an experienced snorkeler or trying it for the first time, your guide accompanies you in the water to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Marine life changes every day and sightings always depend on weather and sea conditions.
The snorkeling locations may occasionally be adapted according to the conditions to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.
